Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education

The Division of Medical Education at UCL Medical School have launched an innovative new programme for those wishing to develop their potential as medical educators.  The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education (PGCCE) is a modular programme designed to ensure maximum flexibility where learners can begin to match their own unique requirements to this award bearing degree.

Entry requirements

The certificate is suitable for all those with an interest in medical education, regardless of their status as clinician or non-clinician, or their seniority.

Programme structure

The programme is organised around three core modules each of 15 M level credits and complemented by a fourth choice module. 

Teaching methods

Methods will include a mixture of taught elements, which include practical sessions and small group work, balanced with time for self-directed learning.  Assessment will consist of one written assignment and one examination.

Course fee

The full certificate cost is £3165* (UK/EU) but applicants can alternatively sign up for individual modules at £791* (UK/EU) (* to be confirmed)
