Elisabeth Paice Awards for Educational Excellence 2011

London Deanery hosted the presentation of the second Elisabeth Paice Awards for Educational Excellence on Thursday 8 December. The prizes were presented to winners by Professor Paice herself at a celebratory evening at De Vere Holborn Bars attended by approximately 100 people.

The aim of the awards is to identify and reward those teams making an outstanding commitment and contribution to postgraduate medical and dental education, in London trusts.  In 2011 two new additional Awards were given in the categories of Best Clinical Leadership Development Initiative and Best Interprofessional Education Initiative.  Winners received a £500 educational grant, a glassware trophy and a certificate. ‘Highly Commended' entries also received a certificate.
