Tri-Badge Awards - UKCEA, NAPCE and UKAPD

The three organisations, UKCEA (UK Conference of Postgraduate Educational Advisors in General Practice) NAPCE (National Association of Primary Care Educators) and UKAPD (UK Association of Programme Directors) (UNU) are increasingly working together to promote professional educational growth and development of all primary care educators, to the benefit of both learners and ultimately the patients they serve. Amongst other initiatives, UNU are keen to support and recognise the work of ‘jobbing’ primary care educators, such as Trainers , Tutors, PDs and ADs, by inviting submissions for a National UNU Award. The submissions will reflect educational practice and initiatives whether successful or unsuccessful. Applications are invited from all Primary Care Educators (Trainers, Tutors, PDs, Associate Postgraduate Deans) for the Annual National UNU Awards. Educators who are not medically qualified are also encouraged to apply.
Topics should primarily be any reflections or innovations related to Primary Care Education either pre or post certification. The submissions should be no more that 3000 words, but other media such as DVD will be accepted with accompanying written summary.

The award is open to Any primary care educators working in the UK. The deadline for applications for 2010/11 is 30 November 2010.
