An article written by Deanery colleagues has been accepted by The Postgraduate Medical Journal. The article written by Tim Swanwick, Bob Clarke and Judy McKimm is called 'Introducing a professional development framework for postgraduate medical supervisors in secondary care: considerations, constraints and challenges'.  Set within the context of shorter postgraduate training, reductions in patient contact time and a move to professionalise postgraduate education the paper reports on London Deanery's initiative to introduce a developmental framework and system of portfolio-based review of educational supervisors in the secondary care setting.  Read the full article here for results and conclusions.
