We are pleased to announce that the new Faculty Development e-learning module “Managing the trainee in difficulty” is now available via the Faculty Development website.

This is the sixteenth module in the series, which has been developed specifically for London Deanery to inform and support the professional development of clinical teachers.  The modules are available free of charge on open access to all, and the series provides comprehensive coverage of all aspects of clinical teaching and training.

We are also delighted to announce that a further four new modules have also been commissioned and we hope to make them available via the FD website in the first half of 2010.  The new modules will be;

• Designing courses
• Using simulation effectively
• E-learning
• Mentoring
