London Deanery/BMJ Careers Fair - 1&2 October 2010

London Deanery is partnering with BMJ at the annual National Careers Fair held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London on October 1st - 2nd 2010.  This is is the largest national medical careers fair in the country and consists of an exhibition (with exhibitors such as Royal Colleges; UKFPO,  London Trusts , the BMA, and many more) combined with a comprehensive seminar programme over two days offering content relevant to all doctors in training.   
 
London Deanery staff including Heads of Specialty Schools, The Careers Unit,  Medical Workforce Recruitment, and The Coaching and Mentoring Service will be facilitating seminars such as : 

  • Getting the most out of the Foundation Programme
  • Specialty training
  • Maintaining your portfolio
  • Getting the most from General Practice
  • Time management
  • Core  Medical  Training
  • Careers planning
     

And many more!
 

In addition to the exhibition and the seminar programme there will also be 1:1 career review sessions delivered by the London Deanery Careers Unit working in partnership with colleagues from C2 (The University of London Careers Service) .
 
The exhibition and career review sessions are available free of charge to all attendees.  The seminar programme normally costs £85 to attend, but there are a number of free tickets available to London Deanery trainees.
