Fellowships in Medical Education

Applications are invited for appointment to five Fellowships in Medical Education (FME). These unique posts offer an exciting opportunity for Specialty Registrars to develop their experience and skills as medical educators. The Fellowship Scheme will commence in May 2008 and will consist of an out of programme experience for a period of 6 months (full time) attached to an ‘education unit’ within a London NHS Trust.
The posts are open to Specialist Registrars in run-through training and employment will be through the Trust wherein the Fellowship resides. Payment will be at the relevant point of the specialty training scale.
Starting in May 2008, the following Fellowships will be available*: (*subject to final confirmation)
• St Bartholomew’s and the London NHS Trust
• Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
• North Middlesex University Hospital Trust
• North West London Hospitals Trust
• Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 7 January 2008.
