London Deanery has recently established a Deanery Careers Unit headed by a chartered psychologist. The Deanery Careers Unit has close links with the medical specialists in the University of London’s Careers Group. Workshops on careers topics (eg choosing a specialty; CVs; application forms; interviews) are organised in every London Deanery trust in addition to non Trust based workshops. Specialist careers support (including psychometric testing) is available for trainees who have more complex careers needs. This is not available through self referral.
