By January 2010, all educational supervisors within Trusts will need to have undergone a review or be signed up to participate in the process over the next three years.  This applies to all secondary care doctors whether they are overseeing the progress of a trainee during a placement, or over an entire programme. 

A number of briefing sessions aimed at familiarising delegates with the requirements of the Professional Development Framework will be held in Central London.  A choice of dates and times is available as given below.  The sessions are designed for (but not restricted to) educational leads in London trusts who will be responsible for the appraisal of educational supervisors.
