'Clinical Teaching Made Easy' by Judy McKimm and Tim Swanwick has won a Highly Commended award at this week's 2011 BMA Medical Book Awards

The prize-winning volume is a London Deanery project which has its origins in the elearning modules for clinical teachers available on the London Deanery website. Reprinted within a few months of its release. 'Clinical Teaching Made Easy' is published by Quay books. BMA judges commented that the book was 'easy to read, well-referenced and up-to-date, this book makes a welcome addition to the educational armoury of teachers, trainers and educators'.

The book provides a practical guide to the theory and practice of education for the practising clinical teacher. Co-editor, Tim Swanwick said, 'this is a completely unexpected accolade. Credit must go to all the contributors who have brought considerable clarity to this complex and often poorly understood area of professional practice'.
