We are pleased to announce that applications for the Elisabeth Paice Awards for Educational Excellence 2011 are now open.

To self nominate your organisation, unit or team for one of the Awards above, please click here and follow the guidelines at the top of the online application form. You can create your own account to prepare your application and your data will be stored so that you can build your submission over a number of days if needed.

The deadline for applications is 22 September 2011.

Who are the awards for?
The awards are offered in five categories and recognise and reward excellence at the level of the:
• Best secondary care department or unit
• Best primary care team (GP, dental, public health)
• Best postgraduate education centre team
• Best clinical leadership development initiative
• Best interprofessional education initiative

The awards will be presented at a ceremony to take place at Holborn Bars, Holborn on 8 December 2011. Winners will be presented with a trophy and will receive a grant towards the purchase of educational resources in their department or organisation.
