| Description | Whether you are running multidisciplinary meetings, teaching groups of medical students or facilitating learning sets for trainees, you will need group facilitation skills. In this London Deanery two-day interactive workshop, a range of skills for running small groups will be rehearsed, underpinned by an exploration of group dynamics and accompanied by practical suggestions for maintaining boundaries and dealing with difficult group members. This is a postgraduate course designed to assist teachers and facilitators of postgraduate students who are on vocational training programmes, to examine and reflect on their teaching and facilitating practice where students are learning in groups. The course will be essential for all training programme directors and those who teach more than one person at a time. It is available to those clinicians who are teaching/training on behalf of the London Deanery. |
